Taba is a border city between Egypt and Israel, where the border crossing checkpoint is located.
Along the way, the bus will pass several security checkpoints, where drivers must present official permits and licenses authorizing travel outside the Sharm El Sheikh area. This is a standard procedure and may cause short stops.
During the journey, guests are encouraged to rest or sleep in preparation for the busy sightseeing day ahead.
The journey is accompanied by professional guides throughout the trip.
The distance from Sharm El Sheikh to Taba is approximately 190 km, with an average travel time of 3 to 4.5 hours, depending on road conditions.
Border crossing is a stage of the journey that cannot be controlled and depends on several factors, including the number of vehicles and tourists at the checkpoint. On average, the border-crossing process takes between 30 minutes and 3.5 hours.
Before reaching the border, you will receive badges with the name of the local receiving company and contact phone numbers (both Egyptian and Israeli).
The border is crossed on foot. After passing passport control, you will be met by our Israeli guide, who will assist you and escort you to a large, comfortable tourist bus on the Israeli side.
Please note that border officers may ask multiple questions. We kindly ask you to answer calmly, politely, and honestly, avoiding arguments or jokes. This greatly increases the chances of a smooth border crossing.
The drive from the border to the Dead Sea takes approximately 2 hours.
You will have around 1.5 hours at the Dead Sea for swimming and relaxation, as well as time to visit a Dead Sea cosmetics shop.
From April to October, the Dead Sea stop usually takes place in the morning as the first stop of the tour.
From November to March, the swim at the Dead Sea is scheduled on the return journey, usually as the final stop of the day.
The journey from the Dead Sea to Jerusalem takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Upon entering the city, your guide will take you to a panoramic viewpoint on the Mount of Olives (Eleon/Olive Mountain) — a sacred place traditionally associated with the Ascension of Jesus Christ. From here, you will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Jerusalem while your guide explains the city’s rich history and the significance of its landmarks.
From the Mount of Olives, you will see:
The ancient Jewish cemetery, considered the oldest Jewish cemetery in the world, with over 150,000 graves
The Old City of Jerusalem, including views toward its most ancient and sacred religious sites
During the tour, you will visit and learn about several important Christian sites:
Russian Ascension Convent
A Russian Orthodox women’s monastery located on the summit of the Mount of Olives. Today, it is home to more than 50 nuns from different countries.
Church of Mary Magdalene (Gethsemane)
A Russian Orthodox church situated near the Tomb of the Virgin Mary, built in 1888 in memory of Empress Maria Alexandrovna. It is famous for its golden onion domes.
Dominus Flevit Church
A Roman Catholic church belonging to the Franciscan Order, located opposite the Dome of the Rock. According to tradition, this is the place where Christ wept over the fate of Jerusalem.
Pater Noster Church
A Catholic church traditionally believed to be the site where Jesus taught the apostles the prayer “Our Father.”
Garden of Gethsemane & the Tomb of the Virgin Mary
The place where Jesus prayed on the night of His arrest. According to the New Testament, Judas Iscariot identified Jesus here.
Kidron Valley (Valley of Jehoshaphat)
Mentioned in the Old Testament as the place where God will judge the nations. In the eschatology of Abrahamic religions, it is associated with the Final Judgment.
This part of the tour offers a deep spiritual and historical immersion, allowing you to experience Jerusalem as a city where faith, history, and prophecy are inseparably intertwined.
The walking tour begins at the Jaffa Gate, from where you will proceed along the Via Dolorosa — the Way of Sorrow. This is the path Jesus walked while carrying His cross to the place of crucifixion.
You will pass the last five Stations of the Cross and arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the holiest site in Christianity.
The Alexander Courtyard is the closest building to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. It includes:
The Threshold of the Judgment Gate, believed to be part of the ancient gate through which Jesus passed on His way to execution
The Church of St. Alexander Nevsky, conceived by the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society as a memorial church dedicated to Emperor Alexander III
The Armenian Quarter is the smallest of the four quarters of the Old City, covering an area of just 0.126 km².
It is located south of Jaffa Gate, on the site traditionally associated with the palace of Herod the Great. This quarter has the lowest population density among all Old City quarters and preserves a quiet, monastic atmosphere.
The Jewish Quarter is separated from the Armenian Quarter by Chabad Street and covers an area of approximately 116,000 m². It stretches from the Zion Gate in the south to the Western Wall and the Temple Mount in the east. Access is also possible via the Dung Gate.
The Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism and the third-holiest site in Islam. It is home to major Islamic landmarks:
Al-Aqsa Mosque — according to Islamic tradition, the first qibla and the second mosque built on Earth; it can accommodate up to 5,000 worshippers
Dome of the Rock — one of the earliest and most important monuments of Islamic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site
The Muslim Quarter is the most densely populated area of the Old City.
It is bordered by:
Lion’s Gate to the east
The northern retaining wall of the Temple Mount to the south
The route between Damascus Gate and the Western Wall to the west
Important landmarks here include Kotel Katan, Ateret Cohanim, Bab al-Hutta, Ohel Yitzhak Synagogue, and many others.
The first seven Stations of the Cross are also located in this quarter. According to Christian tradition, the Church of St. Anne — where the Virgin Mary was born — is found here.
In the Christian Quarter, you will complete the final five Stations of the Cross.
Here you will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which marks the end of the Via Dolorosa and includes:
Golgotha (Calvary)
The Stone of Anointing
The Rotunda with the Edicule (Aedicule) — housing the Tomb of Christ
The Altar of the Crucifixion
This walking tour of the Old City offers a profound journey through faith, history, and culture, allowing you to experience Jerusalem as a city sacred to three world religions.
The Western Wall is the only remaining fragment of the ancient Temple Mount that has survived to this day. According to Jewish tradition and Midrash, the Creator promised that this part of the wall would never be destroyed and that the Divine Presence would never leave it.
People come here to pray at any time of day or night. Jewish sages say that anyone who prays at this place in Jerusalem is as if praying before the Throne of Glory, for this is believed to be the gateway through which prayers ascend to Heaven.
Visitors will have time for prayer, reflection, and to place written wishes between the stones of the wall.
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is the most important and desired destination of the tour for Christian pilgrims. You will reach it by walking through the Arab Quarter, along the final sections of the Via Dolorosa — the path Jesus walked to His crucifixion.
Inside the church, pilgrims will have the opportunity to:
Touch the Stone of Anointing and bless personal items such as crosses, icons, oil, or holy water
Light bundles of 33 candles from the Holy Fire
Descend into the Burial Chamber and venerate the Holy Tomb of Christ
Visit Golgotha (Calvary)
Walk the path of Christ after His Resurrection
Enter the Edicule (Aedicule), where all Christian denominations conduct their services
This sacred place unites all Christian confessions and represents the heart of Christian faith in the Holy Land.
Bethlehem is located in the Judean Mountains, approximately 2 km south of Jerusalem. The city’s main attraction is the Basilica of the Nativity, situated in the very center of Bethlehem on Manger Square, built above the cave traditionally believed to be the birthplace of Jesus Christ.
Nearby, you will also see:
The Milk Grotto, where, according to tradition, the Holy Family hid during their flight to Egypt and where drops of the Virgin Mary’s milk fell on the rock
The cave where Saint Jerome spent over 30 years translating the Bible into Latin (the Vulgate)
The Basilica of the Nativity is one of the two most important Christian churches in the Holy Land, alongside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. It was built over the site traditionally recognized as the birthplace of Jesus Christ.
In 2012, the Basilica was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
During the visit, you will also have free time to explore local souvenir shops, where you can purchase candles, icons, and religious items from the Holy Land.
This part of the tour offers a deeply spiritual journey, allowing you to walk through places that have shaped faith, history, and belief for millions of people around the world.
You will enjoy a tasty buffet-style lunch at a local restaurant, offering a variety of dishes to relax and recharge after the day’s sightseeing.
After a full and memorable day, you will begin the journey back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
On the way back, short stops at shops and cafés are planned, where you may purchase snacks or refreshments if needed. The return route passes through the Israeli border city of Eilat, before continuing toward Egypt.
Arrival at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh is expected at approximately 01:00–02:00 at night, depending on border-crossing procedures and road conditions.
Dear guests, we kindly ask you to check the weather forecast before the trip and dress appropriately to ensure a comfortable journey.
The border crossing between Egypt and Israel is done on foot and may take approximately 2 to 3.5 hours, depending on queues and border procedures.
On the Israeli side, you will be met by representatives of the local receiving company, who will assist you and seat you on the tour buses.

For safety reasons, the route is continuously monitored by Egyptian police and the army, which is a standard security procedure for this excursion.

Unmarried men

Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict or influence who will be allowed entry. These are observations based on tourist feedback only.
If entry is refused, the transfer will return you to your hotel shortly after the border crossing.
Important: By booking this tour, guests accept all risks related to possible border refusal.
In case of refusal, USD 75 is retained for transportation costs, and the remaining amount is refunded the next day.
These are the conditions set by the only authorized organizer of this excursion from Sharm El Sheikh. There are no alternative operators for this route.

This letter is free of charge.
However, if you plan to visit both Cairo and Israel, we strongly recommend visiting Cairo first and Israel afterward.
A short baptism-style swim in the Jordan River may be possible, subject to the guide’s decision on the day.
Special baptism shirts are purchased on-site; prices are set locally and are unknown in advance.
